# Connect Your Wallet

> How to connect your wallet to Ask Brain

You can use Ask Brain in two ways: as a guest user or by connecting a cryptocurrency wallet. Guest users can access basic features, while connecting a wallet unlocks Pro features and enables \$BRAIN token payments.

## Guest Mode

You can use Ask Brain without connecting a wallet:

* Access basic features and queries
* No wallet connection required
* Perfect for trying out Ask Brain
* Some advanced features may require wallet connection

## Supported Wallets

To unlock Pro features and use \$BRAIN tokens, connect a compatible cryptocurrency wallet. Ask Brain supports both Phantom wallets and EVM-compatible wallets (like MetaMask).

### EVM Wallets

Any EVM-compatible wallet works with Ask Brain, including:

* MetaMask
* Trust Wallet
* Coinbase Wallet
* WalletConnect-compatible wallets

## How to Connect

1. **Click the Wallet Connect Button** - Look for the wallet connection button in the Ask Brain interface
2. **Select Your Wallet Type** - Choose between Phantom or EVM wallet
3. **Approve Connection** - Approve the connection request in your wallet
4. **Verify Connection** - Your wallet address should appear in the interface

## What Happens After Connection?

Once connected, your wallet enables:

* **Pro Plan Access** - Use \$BRAIN tokens to access premium features
* **Query Payments** - Pay for advanced queries using \$BRAIN tokens (x402 per query)
* **Personalized Experience** - Enhanced features based on your wallet connection

## Security Notes

  Ask Brain never stores your private keys or has access to your funds. All wallet connections are handled securely through standard Web3 protocols.

* Your private keys remain in your wallet
* Ask Brain only reads your public wallet address
* You maintain full control of your wallet at all times
* Disconnect anytime from the wallet settings

## Troubleshooting

    Make sure your wallet extension is installed and unlocked. Try refreshing the page and attempting the connection again.

    Ensure your wallet is connected to BNB Chain (BSC). You may need to add BSC network to your wallet if it's not already configured.

    Check your browser's extension settings and ensure Ask Brain has the necessary permissions. Some browsers may block wallet connections.
